Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken

  • 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup water


  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker crock. Add water, salt, and pepper to the chicken.
  2. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Chicken should have an internal temperature of 165◦F.
  3. Remove cooked chicken and shred with two forks.
